Cat in heat rant

It figured with my luck when I’m able to get ridiculously cheap spay (& neuter for the dog) that my cat goes into heat halting the surgery 😩

This is the first cat I’ve owned, so I want advice.

Male cats are coming by the hordes... it’s an army out there. I plant Catnip because it’s a mosquito repellent and always joked about how I want a ton of cats in my yard... but not like this.

They’re always on the porch screaming. A few have crawled under the house to just SCREAM... it’s 24-7. I can’t sleep because of major life stress as it is... it doesn’t help waking up at 3am from a bad dream hearing weird demonic growls coming from my floor.

And yes. She’s inside. They still KNOW.

Is there anything I can spray? Will a huge fight eventually happen?? They’ve all been peacefully waiting.... so far.

There has been one big Maine coon that just invites himself in when I open the door, but then he runs back out when he sees the pitbulls. His owner came over this morning asking where he was because they have him scheduled for a neutering appointment 🙌🏻.

They are also spraying on my porch non stop. It’s effing horrible out there 🤢.

I just don’t know what to do. She’s INSIDE!!! They’re being so ruthless!
