With my first pregnancy, we didn’t tell family until 9-11 weeks. With this second pregnancy, I really don’t want to tell people yet. 1. I don’t get my first ultrasound until 13 weeks. 2. Frankly I don’t like all the attention pregnancy brings and I really hate when people ask me every single day how I’m feeling. I would love to wait until the gender scan but thought that was just so far out and I wouldn’t be able to hide it. I have family coming in town next weekend and I’ll be 9 weeks. My husband came up with a great idea to get away with not having to announce yet. Today is Ash Wednesday so we decided to give up drinking 😂 Obvi I already gave it up the minute I found out but no one will guess that. And now I will get to wait until the gender scan before I announce on Easter. Some bunny is getting a baby brother/sister!

Anyway, thought it was a great idea and wanted to share in case anyone else was trying to figure out how to pull off such a big secret.
