Is it normal for baby’s measure to change

I got an ultrasound at 5 weeks 5d and my gestational sac was measuring exactly that. Then got an ultrasound at 7weeks 3d and baby measured 7weeks 4d. Ended up in the hospital for spotting (it ended up being because of a cut) and baby was suppose to measure nine weeks but was a day behind. Is the fluctuating normal?
