When to inseminate?

Hi! I have a question that’s confusing me. Once I get a positive ovulation test, what should I look out for before inseminating ? I heard the right time to inseminate would be if i have a positive LH surge to wait 24 hours to inseminate, others are saying 12 some are saying 30. I only have one sperm so on shot to get this right. Please help. Also, I heard to inseminate when my CM is egg white. Any info will help so much!

What’s important to remember is if your too late there is no hope, if your too early the sperm can live. Earlier does give you a better shot. Most people ovulate about 24 hours after their peak but unless your taking multiple OT you can’t be certain when you actually peak.

Personally I would inseminate once I got my positive OPK. Since you don’t actually know when the surge began you can’t really start a set timer so I wouldn’t want more than a couple hours. Since semen can live a few days I would feel safer inseminating earlier than later so that I didn’t miss the egg.

I would perhaps try the stork thing from Target people have been posting about, it holds the sperm and plays for a number of hours. Once you get a positive LH I would just wait 12 hours if you're going to wait at all. Good luck!!♥️
