Girls!!!!! What excuses can i come up with to ask 1 1/2 week off from work?!!!!! Please read to be explained better....

Please don't judge. I will be getting a cosmetic surgery soon and i need a week n a half off. But i dont feel comfortable tell my boss or any of my coworkers this. Please help me come up w some good excuses to tell him....!

Just say medical procedure. Your doctor can provide a note to verify your need for time off without disclosing why. And it's illegal for your job to require disclosure. That's violating HIPAA laws

You could just tell the truth, you are having a medica procedure done and require some time off for recovery... There's this thing called FMLA, Family and Medical Leave Act that allows you to have time off your job for medical treatment or family emergencies.

while I have no issues with cosmetic procedures, because I do consider it in my future, but won't your job notice when you go back in about 2 weeks that the reason you needed the time for a cosmetic procedure?
