How long until this post-tongue ring scar will go away?

I took my tongue piercing out about a year ago and I still have this stupid indention scar thing. I want to get my scoop piercing, I always have wanted to but I want that scar  gone if possible. 
Just an FYI if it looks weird it's because I had crystal light earlier😅. But there is an indentation in my tongue where the piercing was. I also didn't want to get my teeth in the pic...

What is a scoop tongue piercing? I know a lot of piercings have “street names” but I’ve never heard one called a scoop lol I asked the guys at the shop I work in and they hadn’t heard that term before either.

Girl if that is a surface piercing on your tongue and not 2 separate piercings do not do it. I have my tongue done twice and it looks just like that but 2 separate pieces of jewelry instead of one. Anything horizontal in your tongue in a bad idea.

Its a scar. Scars don't go away. really. If you want the other piercings..get them.
