First time holding my baby boy
So I had a c section and my son was having trouble breathing when he was born. The hospital where we were doesn't have a nicu so he was rushed to a different hospital an hour away before I could even hold him. I only very briefly saw him. Spent three days in the hospital recovering from the surgery, feeling empty on my own while my husband stayed with our son. Here is the moment after being discharged that I could finally hold my baby.
