Good grief! 🙄😤
Okay so this is a rant... So I joined a local BF Support Group on Facebook in hopes of recommendations for local resources if I ever need them. I don’t need any help with BF but I did ask for advice on getting my 9 week EBF baby to take bottles. She took them fine for 6 weeks, I only used them when I needed to be away from her, and then she up and started refusing them. I still plan to EBF when she’s with me but I’m a teacher and I go back to work after spring break. As much as I’d love to, it’s not an option to be a SAHM. I basically explain this to them & the only comments I get are from SAHMs (I know this bc they began their comment with “I’m a SAHM”) who comment “I never gave my baby a bottle”, “my baby went from boob to sippy cup”, “don’t give up, keep BF”, “bottles can’t replace the real deal” and everything in between... I’m just like 🤨🤨🤨 I wish their comments were helpful or encouraging... I do appreciate them taking the time to comment and if I didn’t have to work then maybe I wouldn’t worry about the bottle issue! But good grief it’s like they don’t understand that I’d like to be able to go to work or run an errand and not worry about my baby not taking a bottle.
