Anyone experience this or know why???

Question

Probably TMI but I’m confused. Ive switched to using sanitary pads. I don’t seem to get a ‘flow’ as such - mainly just when I go to the toilet and not too much on the pad. AF seems to be mixed with EW CM and not pure blood flow - if that makes sense. I also don’t bleed through the night. I only have 3 day periods which a fairly light. I was on the pill for 10+ years and been off it for 18 months.

Thank you - mine sound like you describe with 3 days. I’ve had regular periods since stopping birth control and I get positive OPK tests each month with other ovulation signs. Suppose I can’t really remember what my periods were like before the pill and I don’t think I took much notice of it before now really. Thank you for your help and congratulations 😊😊

I’ve been on all kinds of contraceptives. 
When I was on the implant, I didn’t bleed at all. Ever! Three years no periods!
When I went onto the three monthly injection, I would get occasional spotting, but really light, sometimes only when I wiped, not even enough to fill a panty liner. 
When I swooped back to the pill my periods went crazy, I stopped taking the pill in March 2017 and it took until November 2017 for my periods to resemble normal periods. 
 I would have tiny spotting like you describe, but I would have it three times in a month. Then slowly I started getting heavier, normal periods, enough to use a tampon. 
By January my periods consisted of 3 days of bleeding; first day spotting, second day medium flow enough for a small tampon and third day tiny spotting. 
And now I’m pregnant so clearly all still works (I was worried that I’d have a hard time conceiving but once my periods became regular it wasn’t an issue)

Anyone experience this or know why???
