Yesterday I got a faint positive on a pregnancy test, and this morning my bbt was 36.79. Mid morning I started spotting, and in the sanitary towel it just looked black. It progressed to red when I wipe, with some very small clots, but it isn’t full flow. I only see the red when I wipe. I have also had some general aching.

I’m confused because typically, your progesterone levels drop down low when you aren’t pregnant, which prompts the onset of your period.

My bbt was high, which normally indicates high levels of progesterone, but I started “bleeding” just a few hours later. I’m not ill and I slept normally.

Any ideas? Please be kind, on an emotional rollercoaster just now.
