Ovulation blood=increases fertility?

This is our second month actively TTC and today was my first day of ovulating this cycle. For my past few cycles during ovulation I noticed I bleed a little bit but only on one day and a very small amount. I just showered and noticed a some blood on my toilet paper and I’ve recently heard that that means to have sex “right now” because it’s a sign you’re very fertile at the moment. Is this true and has it worked for anyone? Hubby and I jumped on the opportunity😂 So hopefully it worked some magic!
