Mongolian Spots??

Are these Mongolian Spots on my baby? I had noticed dark spots on her upper arms before but I thought it was her dark hair that she has all over her. When are bathing her tonight, we noticed the other spots on her lower back. She is a bi-racial baby. I am white. Dad is Mexican.

Yeah they are Mongolian spots. They sometimes don’t go away as other people say. My twins have them and barely fading away(1.5 year olds)

How old is she? Mongolian spots usually show up around the base of the spine but I thought they were present most at birth and went away shortly after

Mongolian spots usually only appear on people with darker complextions like black & Indian. It's pretty rare for Caucasian people to have it. This is just what my doctor told me because my daughter had it (she has a darker complexion) in the same exact spot. Hers just recently went away and she is 3yrs old.
