Positive Ovulation test 1day before expected Period?

UPDATE! Now 14days late, sooo many symptoms kicking in. Took a test late this evening and only managed to pee for 5 seconds when the test needed 10, but got a vfl! Will test again in the morning and let you know what the result is! 🤞🤞

So my body is playing tricks on me and I was wondering if any of you have had anything similar...

I have PCOS, but we conceived our first baby with no help and it only took 3months 👍This time around hasn’t been so simple though - we are about 8 months in and so far no luck

My periods have started to even out since being put on thyroxine and metformin, and I’ve been having positive opks for the last 3months (along with fertile cm), but this month has been a bit of a weird one. I’m pretty sure i ovulated earlier in my cycle (normal with pcos for your cycle to change month to month) but 4days before my period was due a got EWCM - something that only happens to me during fertile time and not before AF

Which confused my brain, but tried not to analyse too much. Yesterday was day before AF was due to show her ugly head in my life and I wasn’t feeling any of the usual signs, so to satisfy my need to POAS I took an ovulation test and this is what popped up

Super strong positive opk 1day before AF is due 🤨 Surely you can’t ovulate right before your period?! I’m so confused. I’m due on today and no sign of her yet, just a weird stitch pain and watery CM (again unusual. I’m drier than the Sahara before AF normally 😂)

Sorry for the essay, but if anyone can shed some light on wtaf is happening with my silly ovaries I would be really grateful - I’m rubbish at being patient and just waiting to see what happens 🙈
