Can you get a faulty positive OPK?

Hi ladies! 
As the title suggests- I got a positive hard smiley opk at the beginning of Feb.
Has anyone ever had this before and it been wrong? My period is a day late but BFN :(

Unfortunately getting a positive OPK doesn’t mean you actually ovulated. And even if you did and sperm made it to the egg it’s possible it didn’t implant. So yes this is possible. Good luck and baby dust to you.
