How did you afford ivf?

I can't fathom affording ivf. I'm not there yet, were still trying iuis but how did you ladies afford ivf? Any info is greatly appreciated, tho I'm praying I don't have to use it!!

Call around ask prices and make a goal by what month you think you can pay for it and try to put back $ and you save change too good luck

We live in MA and with hubbys job they pay for fertility treatments even IVF and FET. It's law that they have to provide some form of coverage here so we are grateful for that.

We got a 21 month no interest credit card for the big ivf bill ($15k). But paid cash for the extra $3500 for tests and meds. I also ordered my meds online through ivfmeds.com. I was leery at first but my meds arrived and are working. $1390 as opposed to $2700. I'll take it!! There are lots of financing options out there.

DH and I were going to take out a loan and then our amazing parents offered to split the costs. Never in a million years would I have dreamed that would happen but I feel so incredibly grateful.

There are some grants you can get approved for. You have to meet certain qualifications for it. Bring it up to your infertility specialist.

Another thing you can try for is opening up a credit card with 0% interest and that can serve as a loan for you just make sure you pay it off completely b4 your time is up cause then you will get screwed with the interest.  Good luck !
