Sorry if this isn’t really the right place for this.

So, a little background real quick. My sister-in-law can’t have kids (but they were finally able to adopt a newborn last year and now have a son.) Two of my sisters are currently struggling to conceive and have been trying for 1-3 years. I have a 2-year-old daughter.

We recently conceived(I’m only 8 weeks). We weren’t ready to tell yet, but my family put it together anyway, so then we had to tell at least the immediate family. We wanted to wait until Easter in the hopes that my two sisters would conceive by then. Well, anyway, out of the 6 people we’ve told so far, only 2 said congrats...both our moms.

I know it’s not fair that they’re having such a difficult time starting a family, but it’s also not fair that I have been made to feel bad that I got pregnant a second time before either of them have had their first. Just sucks being so deflated, even after we tried to be really sensitive to their situations. Sad rant over.
