I’m 37 weeks n 1.5cm but still thick cervix

Last night I went to the bathroom n wiped twice there was snot like large strips of yellow like mucus.

I didn’t notice it with my 1st two pregnancy’s, could this be my mucus plug? If so how long usually till labor starts
