Water breaking stories??

For those you have had babies before and their water has broken. This is my 4th pregnancy and my water broke with my first but I was already in active labor after being induced. My 2nd and 3rd were c-sections. I know it’s not like the movies but was anyone anywhere other than in active labor when it’s broken? Just for fun, just curious!

My first pregnancy we had just gone to bed, it was maybe around 11pm when I woke up having to pee and I remember feeling a little crampy but it was nothing I hadn’t been feeling for days prior. I went pee and then right as I went to wipe I felt and heard a pop. The pop sounded like cracking your back and felt similar too. I instantly had some water trickle but it kinda felt like pee because I was sitting on the toilet. Lol. The only way I could tell it wasn’t was because I got up from the toilet and it just kept trickling. Only a little bit... but enough to make tiny little puddles on the floor. I put a pad on, cleaned up the floor and woke my husband up. After that the crampy feelings I was having turned more into cramps that were timeable or pattern like. I started timing them, and they kept getting stronger and quicker. When I was in the 5-1-1 rule I called L&D; and went into triage. It sucked because when I got there they almost sent me home and said I was negative for my waters to be broken. I was forceful and said I am laying here until it happens again, they finally got a positive result (said it was because it was such a slow trickle) but was about to admit me anyways because my contractions were so regular and close together. 
Pregnant with #2 and interested to see if it will be similar or what. Lately every time I sit on the toilet I have like PTSD and always think “this is it” “this is the pee!” Hahaha.

I was sitting on the couch at ~8pm when I felt a gush of fluid. Text my dr and he told me to go take a walk around the block and if more came out maybe it was my water. Did that and nothing came out so I went back home and went to bed. Around 3am I got up to use the bathroom and there was no mistaking it then, a lot of fluid coming out and no stopping it. Went into the hospital was barely dilated and not contracting, ended up getting induced and had my daughter around 2:30pm. So nervous I won’t know what going into labor with contractions feel like

I got up from bed to go pee and felt a fish of fluid. It was definitely more than accidental pee, so I knew it was my water. My water continued to trickle out for the next 27 hours until I delivered my daughter. I went to the hospital within a couple hours of my water breaking bc I had Group B step and needed antibiotics.

I was sitting on the couch around 10 pm watching tv when I heard a pop. Nothing else happened at that moment, but I knew something was different so I got up and took a shower. After my shower, my water gushed our every where. It really was like what you see in movies. My contractions were every 3 minutes after that. When I got to the hospital I was barely 1 cm dialated and they told me it would be after the 7am shift started that I would deliver. Yeah...that didn’t happen. I had baby girl in my arms at 4:20 am. Those contractions didn’t ease up and things went pretty quick for a first birth. The nurses were not ready for delivery when I called them in saying I had to push. Ha! It will be interesting to see what happens with baby #2.

I just had my first baby a week ago, she was early and I had to deliver because my water broke. I was just sitting in the couch and felt like an air bubble/ pop feeling. It wasn't painful but immediately I felt warm liquid . I checked and my underwear was completely soaked . I went to go use the bathroom and even more came out. When I got to the hospital they checked to make sure it was my water and there was a huge gush. The rest of the night it continued to leak with movement. When it broke I was not having contractions, although I had been having them on and off no pattern for a few weeks. About 4 hours later I started contracting every 10 minutes. When I got to the hospital I was O cm and not effaced at all.

I’d just gone to get in bed because I’d had the odd pain then I just felt something and felt asif I was weeing myself. About an hour after that contractions more regularly but my contractions never come close together or lasting the time midwifes wanted them too. When I rang they said they would send me home if I went in... I was 7.5cm dilated when I got in! So obviously couldn’t send me home lol x
