First tattoo!

I wanna see everyone’s first tattoo and the meaning behind it!!

I got my first when I was 16 (I’m now 21)

The meaning:

When I was 5 my mother passed away and she had the exact same one tattooed on her foot (it was her first tattoo as well). After she passed away my dad got the exact same one of his chest. And then i got it on my hip

One of the cool things and most special things about it to me is that the SAME tattoo artist did my mother’s, my dad’s and mine.

Now my brother is about to get it on his chest ❤️❤️ also done by the same artist.

My mom used to scrapbook alllll the time and I found out her next tattoo was going to be a dragonfly, but she passed before she could. I have 4 tattoos total now (2 of which are dedicated to my mom)but I think my 5th is going to be a dragonfly for her. (:
