liver problem in pregnancy ?

If I suspect I may have the pregnancy related liver problem how soon should i get tested ? I'm probably being paranoid but this last few days I've felt awful , I've been really sleepy and nauseous, my skin looks a bit yellow and my legs are so itchy ... I've read that these can be signs of a liver problem but it doesn't say how soon to get tested I'm 26 weeks x

Hi rose it's me I thought the same has my left foot kept itching in the same place my consultant gave it a name which I can't remember but I had a blood test done to rule out anything that was on Thursday so I'll ring in Monday to find out, all she said was if I did have it they would keep and eye on me x

Call your doc, you need LFTs. The things that can go up in cholestasis of pregnancy is called bilirubin. Makes you jaundiced (yellow) and itchy.

Yeah call the emergency room. Don't wait for the doc. They'll prob just do a simple blood test
