(FYI this photo is from Pinterest, I’m only 6 weeks so I haven’t told my parents yet....and I’m dying/trying not to see them as much haha)

OKAY! So. I’m 20 my parents were strict growing up but whatever we’re good now. SO. my mom went to Spain in September (lol don’t quote me on the month) and she walked the Camino del Santiago (sorry if i butchered that look it up it’s a spiritual journey super cool.. we’re hippies haha) and the last night in Spain a fire broke out and my mother almost lost her life she was trapped with a family she stayed with and prayed for safety and everything else. she ended up getting out alive, and came back to the states. APPARENTLY I conceived around that time so CRAZY. ANYWAY I found out I was pregnant the last day of November and decided that day I was going to share the news on Christmas with my parents with my boyfriend and best friend by my side (my bf & bff & i are the 3 musketeers we do everything together). I don’t have a lot of money but wanted to make this an inconspicuous surprise haha.
I got a gift bag and wrote on the front “Hold onto these SHE can be forgetful” 
and got a onesie that said “grandma is making me fabulous” and “grandpa thinks i’m out of this world” (i am pregnant with one baby but don’t know the gender that’s why there is two onesies and two “gender” specified onesies) i also got two pacys that matched the onesies. I wrapped the onesies and pacys in two separate tissue wrappings. so my dad got a onesie and pacy and my mom got a onesie and a pacy.
My thought process was if i give them two separate gifts in one they can instantly make their own unique opinion and process it in that second without input from one another.. if that makes sense. 
My best friend took the video and i attached two pictures one of my dad with his opened gift and the other of my mom they were both SO HAPPY!

my dad was just smiling he’s a very simple steak and potatoes guy he told me “if you’re okay i’m okay” (:

“Are we having a baby?!” my mom said in this image lol very happy moment i 100% recommend recording it this is something i can cherish and share with my baby when they are old enough!

We found out I was pregnant the Thursday before Father’s Day, so we got each set of parents a picture frame that said baby down the side, and I decorated a colorful picture sized index card and wrote ‘Picture to Arrive February 2018’, then we told the parents we wanted to stop by and give each Dad their ‘Father’s Day’ present. 😊 It took both dads a second to understand what it meant, but as soon as they did, they both cried and jumped out of their chairs they were so excited! Then the moms got a look at what it was, and they jumped for joy! 😍 It was a super fun, memorable way to tell them! This is our first little one, so I’m so glad we told them in a special way!

We wrapped these mugs and had them open them in front of our family that absolutely knew nothing and when they did Everyone was screaming and soo Excited I was crying and forgot to record 🤦🏽‍♀️😂 Damn Pregnancy Hormones lol

For my parents it was my moms bday and got her a onesie that said guess what? Because whenever I said that to her she assumed I was pregnant. Then for my in laws we got our one little niece who’s 6 months old a onesie that said only grandchild crossed off and then it said big cousin! We had her open it as a gift we just had to buy for her! Everyone was shocked because we didn’t tell them we were trying.

For my first: I gave my mum a mug that said grandma with the ultrasound pictures and some chocolates inside. For my 2nd she was telling me how her bestfriend sent her an exciting message (that her daughter was expecting) so I sent a photo to her phone of my daughter in a onesie that said big sister May 2018 and said here you can send her your own lot of exciting news 😜 not the original way we were going to announce but it just felt like the right time 😊

We are waiting until our first appointment but I am going to get my parents these coffee mugs! I think we’re just going to tell them it looked like they needed another set lol. For the in laws, we are giving them a grandparents picture frame with some baby avenger shoes (because my husband loves capt america). I’m excited!

I’m only 18 and currently still live with my mom (although I do work and go to college) and my baby wasn’t exactlg planned. (Although he/she is my biggest blessing and I wouldn’t change it for anything❤️.) So I was kinda scared of my mom’s reaction for when I told her, so sadly I didn’t really get the chance to do anything cute. I really wish I could’ve though, and looking back I regret it because she actually took it pretty well!
