Should first kisses be special?

Okay so I'm 16 and still haven't had my first kiss or done anything with a guy. I don't know why i just haven't had the chance. It makes it really tricky when I like a guy cause I just get overly nervous. I feel ridiculous there's girls in my year who have already lost their virginity. I've talked to some of my close friends about it and some have said to just get it over and done with at a party. But then others have been like well you've waited this long so don't you want to make it special?

Ah I just don't know! Cause then I feel like it should be with this great guy and now I'm just going to be moping around waiting for this "great" guy ugh. Help me?
