Anyone use a at home Doppler?

I am 8 weeks 1 day today and yesterday I was just messing around and trying to catch my little Jelly Beans heartbeat and I DID! My husband was there and recorded the whole thing. I will be trying every day now and I just really wanted to encourage other women to try. I had searched up the possibility on YouTube and there was another lady who said she caught hers at 8w2d so I was skeptical but WE HEARD IT. I would love to see if any other ladies have one and how early did you hear your baby/ies heartbeat ❤️ And if you don’t know your not really supposed to be able to hear the heartbeat until closer to 12 weeks but depending on the baby # and the woman CLEARLY you can hear it at 8 weeks exactly! 😱 😍

Side note: my Doppler has never displayed an accurate bpm reading. 😂 I’m not sure why as long as I can hear it I don’t need the # 🤷‍♀️

I did not start using a dobbler at home until after about 13 weeks but now we use it almost everyday :)) so nice to hear it whenever we want

In the UK they are trying to stop people being able to buy them for home use. I was in hospital last week at 21 + 3 and the midwife used a doppler, I was like there's the heart beat and she said that's your placenta beating! I'm listening for a more clicking type sound. I think it's lovely if people want to bond with their baby that's great, but if there is ever any concern about baby's movement please don't use it as a means of checking everything is ok we must remember the majority of us are not trained professionals and they have had years if training.

no,my midwife said that there have not been enough studies done to know how often they are to safely use. she finds the heart beat and then quickly turns it off every time.
