Can someone explain opk and LH hormone please ?

So my opk yesterday afternoon was positive, this morning it’s still positive and I get the whole can happen 24/48 hour thing. But after I ovulate will my opk be negative? I’m just curious Bc I had sex yesterday and today and I’ll do it again tomorrow but once my opk is negative idk if I should stop (for ttc purposes) or if the egg is still alive and in there waiting for more sperm If possible. Idk if any of that makes sense 😂 but thanks for help anyhow haha.
