Trying to get pregnant tips

I am 37 and have 1 child, she is 9. I am now married and he doesn't have children and we want children together. I have not used any birth control for a year and a half. We have not tried that entire time, just wasn't preventing it. With that said, what are some tips and tricks we can try to make this happen?
