Mobile home?🏡

Question

Does anyone live or has ever lived in a mobile home?
My husband is buying a land of 10 acres and he suggested we buy a mobile home to put there but I don't know if I like the idea because I've never lived in one I'd much rather buy a house but he says it's more convenient and I like to get some feedback form this community?

P.s i don't think they're ugly or I have no negative comments to say I think it's a good idea I just would like to know more about them.

They have some really nice mobile homes :) my mother in law lives in a really nice 3 bedroom and my husband and I have been looking into get one.

I’ve been inside many mobile homes and they were literally just like regular houses. I think it’s a good option if you want to save up to eventually build your dream home ☺️  or even just to live in!

I'd never live in one if I could help it.  We are planning on buying a few acres and moving here shortly, and plan to live in a camper until we can build vs a mobile home for the time we will be building.

I would check on zoning laws in that area before buying. You may not be able to put a mobile home on that parcel depending on deed restrictions, etc

There’s nothing wrong with them! Ie lived in then my whole life. Some may think they’re trashy but some peopleh have no choice. They make really nice ones and double wides plus you can add sheds etc. and it won’t even look like a mobile home :) plus it saves you money then you can spend on other stuff!!

I currently live in one, mine is a 5th wheeler caravan that's had a building added on to the side. in the caravan is a full sized bedroom and full sized bathroom and a kitchen bigger than most houses and then in the add on is a huge lounge and the laundry. I chose to live there as I was 18 now 19 and wanted to move out of home but the rent here js stupid. so I decided to buy this now at 19 I outright own this house. it's cheep to live in the power and water and everything is so cheap. the house cleaning takes 10 minutes haha it's good
