How long for hormones to drop?

Had a mc (first pregnancy) on January 24th at 7 weeks and took an ovulation test a few days ago and it was positive but still showing a positive today and it’s been 3 1/2 weeks since my MC and no period yet. How long has it taken others for their hormones to go back to normal as I’m assuming this is all leftover from the pregnancy still?  Thanks in advance for your help!

I had a missed miscarriage on thanksgiving day last year and a D&C; on December 1. We were 5-6 weeks along and my levels were in the 30,000. It took us 3 months to get them out of our system. But everyone is completely different from the next. I would say what took the longest is when my levels hit 12. It took so long to get to 0!

It took 3 weeks for my hcg levels to get to 1 and then a period 3 weeks after that so just over 6 weeks for me to get a period

I had my d&c; on Jan 26, Friday was 3 weeks and I still have hcg in my system and I’m still getting blood work to verify when I am back to normal. I take home pregnancy test and they are  getting much fainter.

I had a missed miscarriage at 12 weeks. A month after miscarriage I was still getting positive that we’re very clear and I had a period. It took 7 weeks for the hcg to get out of my system.

I bled from jan 8-17. No AF yet!

sorry youre going thru this. I mmc Jan5, bled heavily for 7 days, spotted for 4 days. HPT came out negative Jan21. AF came Feb2, bled pretty heavily for 3 days.
