No symptoms ?

I am 8 weeks pregnant and I have had very mild pregnancy symptoms through this entire pregnancy so far but when I got my blood test results back from my ob they came back very high. 18,976 at 5 weeks. I thought higher hcg levels usually meant stronger symptoms?
