What to do!?! Help! Regarding gender

I can’t decide if I want to know the gender of the baby during the ultrasound with my husband and I only, or if we want to be surprised at our gender reveal party! Opinions or stories appreciated!

It’s difficult! It’s fun to find out with everyone BUT if you have a gender preference, I would suggest seeing the results at the ultrasound. Don’t want to get captured in video with slight disappointment on your face :) and for the record, it’s ok to have gender disappointment!

I love the reveals but I am scared that I’ll react badly and be embarrassed because we have two daughters and I really want a son. I am happy baby is doing good so far and am grateful because I’ve had 8 Miscarriages. But I might cry at first if we are having another little girl. I’ll be happy but probably cry first.

we found out together at our ultrasound and then kept it secret and announced to our families. I felt this way we could process the gender on our own beforehand, because hubby really wanted a boy, it didn't really matter to me. I had a feeling it was a boy though. When the tech said it was a boy my husband high fived me haha. Also this gave me some time to get how we were going to announce put together, and I knew it was correct.

I liked finding out with my husband at the ultrasound appointment. I wanted us to be the first to know and get excited about together before we told anyone else. But I'm also a more private person and don't like being the center of attention at a party. Wish me luck at my baby shower haha 😉

So i planned a gender reveal for my best friend who told me she wasn’t going to find out until the party. Turns out she, her husband, and their parents all found out the gender before the party. I had hired a photographer to be there and capture the moment they found out. The pictures didn’t turn out how I had envisioned because they already knew. I wish they had waited, but it’s their baby! Haha

So totally random, but I’m so glad we didn’t do a reveal party this time around. I’ve always wanted one and we almost did it for our second baby. 
They told me our baby was a girl at our first ultrasound then two weeks later we went to confirm it and...boy. 😬😬😬 I had only heard about that happening online. I couldn’t believe it. 
I realize it’s very rare that this happens but I’m still kind of dazed and can’t believe it.
