Feeling a little discouraged

I had contractions every 8-10 minutes all day on Monday, then Tuesday afternoon they went to every 4-5 minutes for a couple hours, so my birthing center asked me to come in and get checked. I hadn’t been checked the whole pregnancy, but it’s my fourth baby and I’ve had several days of contractions off and on for weeks now. She said my cervix was closed completely, which was really disheartening! I’m 39w1d, so I know I could still have a couple weeks of this - I just feel discouraged at this point though! Sorry for the venting post. Anyone else in a similar boat? Out of my 3 births only one have I gone into labor naturally and I think that’s what worries me most - that I just won’t go on my own and I’ll have to be induced again 😭
