Echogenic bowel
Has anyone experienced this? Dr said that it could be a sign of cystic fibrosis so they ran some extra test to look further. I do not carry the gene and my fiancé’s family has no known record of the disease. I was reading about it and it said 1/10 babies are likely to have it if it is not carried and 2/10 is the parents are carriers of the gene. She went ahead talking about a specialist, but we’re putting it off to see what the test come back and say since the dr is 2 hours away and we would both have to take a day off work. She even expressed us to not worry about it bc normally it goes away, so I assume she was just taking precaution?.
