Taking my week old baby for a walk?

My baby is a week old today and the weather outside today is sooo beautiful (70 degrees in upstate NY) I’d love to go for a walk outside but I don’t know if I should?? We won’t be exposed to people and he’ll obviously be in his car seat attached to the stroller. This might sound stupid but I really have no idea 😅

He will be fine. Just make sure the sun doesn’t hit him to much. You don’t want him to get sun burn. I took my daughter out that young. Just dress him like you would dress yourself. Don’t over dress him

Girl take that baby out!!! Winter babes lack fresh air so take advantage of it! Babies aren’t super fragile like so many people think. They’re built to survive in this world.

Just be very careful I took my baby out for a walk . She’s been having a cold. She don’t get her first set of shots till Friday . The doctor told me i should of waited until her first set of shots . How bad the flu is here in the U.S. and now bronchitis is hitting hard . I took her to the doctor yesterday again . He said just keep her inside and it’s been in the 70’s. I live in AZ

My doctor always told me the fresh air is great for babies, go for it! Just don’t let anyone peek in to give her germs

I took my newborn daughter at the time out for a walk with me in a semi-rainy day (it was sprinkling mostly). I had just gotten out of the hospital the day before... My daughter was fine, and so was I.

Take your baby out! I couldn’t stand to be cooped up. Our doc has always said taking them out helps you and them. Even early on. (Maybe not during winter months?) helps you with stress and helps build babies immune system! Just cover them up and don’t let strangers get close to them

He’ll be fine. Just remember that babies shouldn’t be in their car seat for too long, even when it’s on the stroller. As long as he’s warm and covered, you’ll be good.
