Is $300 too much to ask someone to pay for a bridesmaids dress? My friend across the country is getting married this year, as am I, and is asking all her girls to pay $300 for the dress and that’s not including shoes. I’m getting married two months before her and I just really can’t afford that much on a dress plus my airfare back home for her wedding. When I asked her to be in my wedding she had no problem asking me to pay for her hotel and travel and my dress was only $140. Am I overreacting or is that way too much for a dress?
