Anyone have to have surgery during heir pregnancy?

I'm 16 weeks with twins and found out I have a hernia. I likely won't need to have surgery but need to meet with a surgeon to be sure. I'm scared I will have to and at the same time I'm scared something will happen if I don't. Anyone have to have any type of surgery while pregnant?

They’ll most likely wait until after you deliver to do surgery, if they do at all. Hernia’s aren’t life threatening, and they only do surgery if it’s an emergency.

I'm currently 32 weeks pregnant with twins. At 27 weeks we found out I have 4 LARGE gallstones and they'd have to remove my gallbladder because it isn't functioning the best. My OB closely monitors it and has me on a diet to try to prolong the life of my gallbladder. She told me they'll try to postpone the surgery until after my twins are born (My due date is April 15th). She said if it starts to function worse, that they'll transfer me to a bigger hospital & take my twins early. So far, it's been staying at about the same level it has been. I'm sure they'll try to postpone yours until after delivery if they can.
