No More Gender Blood Tests??

I was told by my doctor to come back in Monday for my Harmony blood test. I called the nurse hotline and asked if i could just do it in my hometown so I didn't have to stay out of town any longer. She then told me that recently, my dr's office nor their hospital does the blood test anymore. So now I can't find out the gender of my baby through ANY blood test. I'm extremely mad and disappointed. I don't understand why they stopped doing it and why my dr didnt tell me °○°●°○°●°○°● UPDATE : Hey ladies, they have stopped literally every gender blood test at my ob's office and their hospital. I even offered to pay out of pocket! I won't get another ultrasound until I'm 20 weeks (only 13 now) even though ive had 3 miscarriages. i practically begged for one at my last apt to make sure the baby was growing right but they declined. It's not really in the budget to go have a private ultrasound, and either way, I'd rather spend money on the blood test(if insurance does not cover it) for a DEFINITELY CORRECT gender, rather than paying out the ass for an ultrasound that may or may not turn out to be accurate. does anyone know any other way i could find out the gender other than these two ways? it is a shot in the dark, but i am just curious and rather upset
