HCG levels after miscarriage

Can you still get pregnant if your HCG levels aren’t below 5 straight after a miscarriage? I’m reading lots of women who say they got pregnant 2-4 weeks after the miscarriage. I opted for the pill on Tuesday so am keeping my fingers crossed that in 2 weeks time we can try again. I’m just not sure how between 9-14 days peoples HCG levels go back to 5 so they can ovulate again? Or am I missing something?
