Well how long DO I have to wait....

So I am new to this TTC world. My husband and I have only been trying for 3 months. And now that I have a good grasp on the whole ovulation thing and planing out when’s the best time to have sex, I have to ask, How long do I have to wait to take a pregnancy test?! I have 3 days until I’m suppose to start my period and we had sex 2 days before ovulation, on my ovulation day and 3 days after. I’ve been having PMS symptoms and am dying to know, am I pregnant or am I just PMSing.
