So my daughter turned 1 yesterday and she’s still only babbling. No words other than occasional mama and baba and not in context. Worried mama here

Not all kids are the same!! My bestfriends daughters literally only grunted until she was 15 months. Now she's 21 months and talking up a storm. Be patient, they'll be talking in no time. It's not a competition or race. Kids always do things in their own time

Same here! I try not to stress. Every baby is different. My daughter learned to walk at 10 1/2 months, was crawling at 7. My nephew didn’t crawl until 10 months but then walked the same day! I figure talking is the same way, they’ll get there :)
