Do vegans kill bugs??

Question

Im curious on how vegans feel about killing bugs. I dont mean spiders or anything non dangerous (we put them outside) I mean bugs like bed bugs, lice, ticks, fleas, etc. I once googled it as I was curious and read an article about a guy who is vegan who said he'd live with bedbugs and would never kill them which seemed crazy to me so Im curious on where you stand.

There are plenty of bugs in the world to replenish any you kill. They’re not a commodity and their consumption (death) doesn’t contribute to global famine and climate change. It’s overkill (or perhaps underkill?) to spare them because they’re alive. So are bacteria, but I don’t see anyone advocating for them.

I do but it like is very traumatic when I kill a bug lol. I try to ask my husband to do it, but if he isn’t home then I use bug spray that kills... I can’t bear to feel it die like in a napkin. I also have trouble even picking it  up when it’s dead... I usually try to get my husband to do that too. 
The only bugs I would want killed would be spiders, ants, roaches, etc. must be in my house or car. If it’s outside I just walk away..

Lmao yes of course! Drown those shitty little nits in tonnes of conditioner, comb them onto a tissue and into the bin they go. No compassion for those little shits 😂

As Buddhist practice we see all life equal. There's even a little poem that states if we accidentally step on a small animal while walking and not aware we hope it's death is painless. Now for something that is going to cause us harm we would try to do it in the most harmless way possible and say a poem for them as well. My motto is if it doesn't hurt me I won't hurt it. And honestly I'd probably let a wasp or something sting me before I had enough courage to swat it down. Lol

I try and avoid killing everything..unless it's a direct threat to me. I found a white tail spider (very dangerous) in my bed a few months ago and still made sure I got it outside. I don't see killing them as the answer.
