Skin care?

Sto • Still trying to figure it all out... 🎬💏

I’ve had super bad skin since I was like 12 years old (I’m 24 now). It definitely got better with time however I want it to be as clear as possible. I once went to dermatologist and they told me to change my diet and drink lots of water. I was already doing that but I changed the stuff I was eating. To some kind of a better end, but not the one I was hoping for. Then, I read somewhere that washing your skin too much can actually have the opposite effect so I stopped doing it so often (I was washing and/or exfoliating it every other day) and moved from there to once weekly. It kind of improved my skin but I wanted more, so I kept on reading on the matter. Turns out the wrong cosmetics could have a bad effect as well, so I turned to natural oils and masks. Still some change, but not enough.

My routine now is exfoliating once a week and washing it once as well, the other days I use only tube water. After washing/exfoliating I use salicylic acid and after that 2 drops of grape oil for moisturizing, on the other days I just use a drop of the grape oil to moisture my skin through the day.

Lately, I’ve been thinking about returning to regular skin cosmetics, but I don’t know which would suit me best. My skin is oily/combined. I’m attaching a few photos of my face so you could see what I mean.

Obviously, not as bad as one might think, but I’m supposed to get married in September and I wanted to do something about this, since it was always bothering me.

PS: Not using makeup, if that matters.
