safe baby powder for girls?

I used baby powder for my son all the time, I am now pregnant with a little girl and know it can cause yeast infections for them. I found the Burts Bees baby powder that is talc free and was wonder if any one would recommend it? or another powder?

Baby powder has actually been linked to cause cervical cancer. So when you have your little girl remember that!! I use Burt’s bee diaper rash ointment on my little one. Works amazing but is pricey. Destin works just as good & less expensive

You could also use either plain old cornstarch or  I managed to find power scented cornstarch in my local dollar store.

Stupid question. What’s powder for? My son is 14 months old and I can’t figure out a reason I’d ever need to use baby powder.
