Men at work

There is a guy at my job I have a massive crush on, I'm talking back to middle school kind of crush. It seems feelings are mutual but he is shy and I am old fashioned, to an extent. The crush mode is getting ridiculous though. I bit my lip when I see him, work my schedule so I can bump into him as many times as I can. My question is where do I go from here? What should I do? Do I make the move and ask him out? We both have kids from previous relationships so maybe that's a factor.
