Discouraged. Thoughts?

Question

So AF came today. We've been TTC # 2 for 9 months. I did ovulation tests this last time and was positive. My periods are always normal. I don't have endometriosis or any other diseases. I'm starting to wonder if my husbands sperm isn't taking? Does it generally take longer to conceive the second time? I was pregnant 6 months after stopping birth control the first time. Any thoughts or tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

It took me 5 months with my first and 18 months with my second. Lol.

I'm just like you i have been ttc #2 for 12 months now and yet no luck .. But hopefully we will get a positive someday ... Just give time i guess ... And yes i do find it really hard getting pregnant with baby2 ... Just stay positive and have hope .. Baby dust to all who are waiting for a positive

I'm trying for my 2nd also! Its hard! If you think it could be his swimmers, there are sperm tests you can buy over the counter at drug stores! Sometimes too, women get scar tissue after their first birth that can cause it to take longer. You can always go to your gyno and have him run tests and do an ultrasound to check the progress on your egg production and make sure that everything is okay. You may be ovulating but not releasing eggs too. So many things it may be but, try to be positive! It'll happen! Timing is everything! Good luck to you!
