Help? Bleeding sex and now back pain! A bit TMI 27wks

Okay so yesterday I was having sex and my SO pointed out I was bleeding on him. A mix of bright blood and old brown blood. I wasn’t in any pain and I knew some spotting was normal. He was more worried than I was because spotting was normal but this was a bit heavier than that he said.

We switched over to anal just to be safe lol when we finished I called the OB doctor on call to talk with her about it. She said that cervical irritation is common, and just hold off on the vaginal sex until my next appointment so they can check everything out. That I shouldn’t worry or come in unless I was soaking a pad. I took comfort in her advice because the bleeding was already drying up and went to bed.

This morning I work up and there’s little to no bleeding and whatever was left was dark and slimy and finished out by noon. But now my problem is that I’m having a band of achey pain from my lower back down below my belly button right above my hips. I’m a FTM but I don’t think these are BH or really contractions because the pain is pretty consistent? My pregnancy has been a breeze so far so I’m getting a little worried because it’s super duper uncomfortable. Moving doesn’t help, but can make it worse and laying down/resting doesn’t make it go away. It’s like this dull painful ache.

If it doesn’t go away by tomorrow afternoon I’ll call the OB again for advice. But I just wanted to see if anyone else has delt with a similar situation before? Thanks for reading!
