What can I expect??

I'm getting my first US at 6weeks 5days. What do you think they will be able to determine this early? Will we see anything? Just trying to guess what I should expect to find out....

The will simply determine if there is truly a pregnancy with a baby with a heart beat. Definitely can’t tell the sex until closer to 20 weeks.

first expect an attempt to do abdominal, but probably do vaginal to get a better look. it's not too uncomfortable, but it's not fantastic either. (with my 1st, I wish someone would have warned me.) second, they might find a hb (heartbeat), don't stress out if they don't. it's still early. third, they will give you an estimated due date. sometimes it will change by the next ultrasound, sometimes they are spot on. and lastly, relax. lol good luck momma...and keep us updated. we all like hearing how others are doing.

They may or may not be able to see the heartbeat at that early. Just be forewarned. They are just looking to see if it’s an actual pregnancy.
