For those with fur babies, how are they handling your pregnancy?

My mom has been trying to talk me into getting rid of my cat that I have (and was even born in my home) so I’m curious to see how others have been handling their humans pregnancies.

I think it would be awful to get rid of your pet just because you’re pregnant! I love my cats and would never do that ☹️ I think pets are for life, not just until you get something better (a baby).

I have house rabbits. When pregnant with #1, one of the buns would constantly dig at my belly and would bite at my ankles if I was walking by. It started before I even knew I was pregnant, then stopped as soon as I had the baby.

I don't have cats, but both of my dogs seem to be handling it just fine. They have been a little bit needy... but they always are lol

our cat passed unfortunately but she was thrilled about it our dogs have been clingy and my pittie can not get enough of cuddling my belly even tho his sister tries to kick him when he snores. Im waiting for the day shes big enough he can feel her not just the whole reaction from it like he can hear her.
