Can someone help me with some answers? -6 month appointment

Kya🌸 • Mommy of a precious little girl 💗

So my baby girl is 6 months old now, has been since the 23rd. Our insurance was merging and it was just a complicated mess so my girl only had Tricare standard while me and my husband have Tricare prime.

I was calling the hospital to make her an appointment since November and they said they couldn’t see her until she had Prime also. (Fucking ridiculous)

Well now she has Tricare prime and I was able to get her a pediatric doctor and an appointment but it’s not until MARCH 27th!!!

We’re a military family and I feel completely screwed. She won’t be able to get her shots for another month and I won’t have the answers I need.

So this is what I need some help with, please:

I started her on solids already only once a day (I don’t know how often I should be giving them to her). And I only have her try one new thing every other day just in case she has any allergic reactions (again, I don’t know??) I still formula feed and I’ve been down to only breastfeeding twice a day, right when she wakes up and then again when she goes to bed since I’m not making enough.

How much should she be eating?

When do you start giving them a little bit of plain water?

How long should she be sleeping a day? Naps?

I don’t even know how much weight she should’ve gained since her last appointment.

From when she was born to 4 months she was being treated by my doctor back home but now I’m back in North Carolina and it sucks. Everything is so difficult.

I don’t know, anything would be so helpful.

Like what did your pediatrician go over with you at your baby’s 6 month appointment?

Thank you to those who answer and give any advice. ❤️
