Is the pill really doing this to me?!? 😤

I’ve been on pill for about 1.5 years now so I started to get this strange discharge which smelled weird and looked sometimes white and clear. I went to the doctor twice (a few months apart) and they said both times it could be a yeast infection so I applied that medicine in me. But my gyno also said it can be your BC doing this where it’s producing foul smelling white discharge so she recommended I get off my BC for a few months to let my normal hormones kick in, which I did a few weeks ago. It honestly feels weird and unsafe not taking it LOL especially for days I have sex with my bf even though we use condoms. It would be so annoying how it would get my panties dirty and I didn’t want to wear a panty liner ALL THE TIME. Anyways has this ever happened to anyone???
