My best friend’s ex

My bestfriend broke up with her boyfriend after he had cheated on her twice. The first time she found out, he had been cheating on her since they practically started dating. Then, About a month and a half ago she found out he did it again with the same girl. She ended it and I’m so proud of her for standing up for herself and getting out of the very emotionally abusive relationship.

But now, my bestfriend is wanting a new start. She’s in LA this week to get an idea to see if she wants to move, she’s looking for jobs, checking apartments etc. I’m so happy for her, but her ex will not stop trying to contact her. He’s saying that she’s been stalking him, that shes been driving her car around his house when she absolutely has not. She doesnt even have her car right now AND she’s not even in town!! She blocked his number, blocked him on al social media and hes gone to FUCKING EMAILING HER!! He’s ridiculous! And he wont leave her alone.

I told her, since her dad is a cop, just threaten him with a restraining order. Which honestly In reality she could get him in other trouble.. for drugs.. etc. but I don’t think she should really do that.. she just wants a happy new life without him. And he’s not letting her do that. He’s with this other new girl now, but he is constantly on my bestfriends ass, wondering what she’s doing. Like it is NONE of his business!!

Any advice on how to help my friend out? I just want her to start over and finally be happy. Shes gone through too much bullshit to have this dude still lingering in her life.
