Does he have a crush on me? Or..?

Hi guys just a quick story. So I have a very close male friend that I tell him everything about myself but recently I was having issues with my boyfriend and we broke up for about a month and I thought we weren’t going to get back together but the planned changed and we are dating again now. When I opened it up to my friend he started to distance himself and I’m trying to figure out why. I believe he doesn’t like me ( I means he says as a joke ..just like to every other girl) , we are basically just close and nothing more. And when I was dating my boyfriend he was cool as in we were calling each other everyday and texting but since I went back to my ex my relationship with him has changed.

What’s the reason for him to act in that way?
